Copyright 2013 Jason Barnette The 30-mile section of Route 16 from Marion to Tazewell, Virginia, is know as The Back of the Dragon. The name comes from motorcycle enthusiasts who enjoy riding across the mountain ranges between the two country towns in Southwest Virginia. The route offers a beautiful scenic drive, amazing overlooks, and stunning nature shots.
